Non-Customer Contact Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Spitfire Homes uses personal data when you contact us but are not a customer. That includes asking about our homes or developments, responding to a public consultation, or getting in touch through this website.

Who we are

This notice is issued by Spitfire Bespoke Homes Limited, trading as Spitfire Homes (“Spitfire”, “we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales under company number 04395875, with its registered office at The Gate, International Drive, Solihull, B90 4WA. Spitfire is the data controller for your personal data.

For the Loxley Road, Wellesbourne consultation, our planning consultants Twenty5 Planning Ltd collect and manage comments on our behalf and act on our instructions.

We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Please send any questions about this notice to the Data Protection Lead, Spitfire Homes, at the address above.

What we collect

  • Contact details: title, name, address, email address and telephone number, and the area you live in.
  • Your comments and enquiries: what you tell us in emails, letters, comment forms and conversations.
  • Photographs: where you appear in photographs taken at public events such as consultation exhibitions.

How we use it and why

  • To answer your questions and deal with any request you make.
  • To consider consultation comments as we develop our proposals, and to report on the consultation to the local planning authority.
  • To keep in touch with you about the matter you raised, until it is resolved.

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, engaging with the local community and preparing planning applications. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we will not add you to marketing lists unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed to respond to you. This may include our planning, design and technical consultants, solicitors and other professional advisers. Consultation comments may be summarised in a Statement of Community Involvement submitted with a planning application. Names and contact details are removed before anything is published. Anyone we share data with must keep it confidential and secure.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data until your enquiry is resolved, and consultation comments until the related planning application has been decided and any appeal period has ended. After that, we delete the data securely unless we need it to meet a legal requirement.

Transfers outside the UK

We do not knowingly transfer personal data outside the UK. If this changes, we will put appropriate safeguards in place as UK data protection law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, erase it or restrict how we use it. You can also object to us using it. To make a request, please write to the Data Protection Lead at the address above. For consultation comments you can also email hello@twenty5.co.uk.
